The problem is that the Targa board doesn't output broadcast
quality NTSC…and doesn't include (free) 24 bit paint, Character
generation, a 4 input switcher, digital video effects, real time color
effects, etc etc…I know a lot of people who have dumped their Targas for
a Toaster…
One interesting related rumour I've heard – Truevision apparently
applied a LOT of pressure to Resolution Magazine (theoretically an
independent publication) so Resolution wouldn't accept an ad from NewTek…
