NTSC flickers…that's life – if it's the interface flicker that bothers you, just use a flicker fixer and multisync monitor. I think you are WAY oversimplifying the Toaster hardware – first of al we haven't really seen it pushed to the limits yet. Second, if there were an easy way to do the Toaster, someone would have done the damn thing – you say to look at the Matrox board – actually LOOK at it..it's dreadful looking, no where near the Toaster at all…don't forget the Toaster is broadcast quality – a not small feat.
