Ron — I've got so much time and capital tied up in my Amiga systems, I doubt if I really want to develop capabilities on another system to ulilize something like Quicktime. Which is what my original question was all about. I'm trying to avoid running parallel systems on different platforms. There's too much stuff to my for one platform never mind two. Thanks for the info on QT, I'll look out for that magazine. I agree about the technology moving rapidly. Which compounds any decision-making about what direction to go. Any equipment has to pay for itself in mere months nowadays or it's not worth bothering with. (With the notable exception of my oldest A2000, still chugging away after five years. In the meantime I'm on my third DOS box … ) Barbara
