Barbara, I just put on a multimedia networking demonstration today at work with my A2000, and was asked several times, "is that coming from CD-ROM?". I would reply, "no, it is read from harddrive and then kept in RAM (entirely)". Most messy-DOS PC's are not capable of MM as they come out of the box, hence, the CD-ROM distribution of graphics, etc; which the messy-dos PC then just 'reads and displays' is a fairly simple solution. Somebody, however, had to generate that CD-ROM and create or gather the graphics, pictures, et cetera, and then develop special software. If you have a CD-ROM producing capability, and your client is mostly messy-dos, then the simplest solution for you might be to just "slap" it all to CD-ROM and let them use it like a special disk. If your client isn't locked in to a single platform, and there isn't as much of a need for everyone in the organization to have their own, individual access to whatever you develop, then, maybe a few A1200's (with 256 colors!!) will provide the "training base" that the customer can make use of (eg; in a special or seperate "training room").
