Mike, I had always difficulties understandig what Bill Thomas explains in his answer to your message. In my laymans words I think it is this (Bill, please correct me, if not): Although the audio data on an audio CD is stored in digital format, you will never get digital data from an audio CD out of a CD-ROM drive. The data goes through a drive internal D/A and is available *only* in analog format. That means either you pick it up from the RCA jacks and into the soundboards line in jack, or (if present) you use analog out pins somewhere on an *internal* drive (inside the computer) to connect those to the *internal* Audio-CD-in pins (inside the computer) (if present) on the sound card. If you should finally give us your drive and card type, someone will probably know where to get the connecting cable wich, again, will run *inside* your computer. There is no software solution to this, as digital audio CD data never gets out of the drive. Thomas
