I'm fairly new to this CDROM stuff myself. I solved most of my problems getting
my multimedia programs to run by using a "boot disk". I have two, one for
running under DOS and one for running under Windows. To me, it's the best way
to access as much free memory as possible and a lot easier than disabling your
memory manager and REMing out a bunch of lines in your CONFIG.SYS each time. So
far so good! You might want to give it a try.
