I like your characterization of Encarta as "a significant new product, not just another encyclopedia." I have seen a pre-release version, and it is a wonderful piece of work on a variety of different levels. The underlying text informatin is really solid, coverage of topics and subjects is first rate if you are doing research, the number, quality, and relevance of images, animations, sounds, etc. is also very good. In all, this is a first-class product, and well worth the wait. Ron
