Reading and writing ProPage docs: well, that would be nice, but very difficult. However, as we stated a long time ago in our HotLinks developer kit, we plan on using a new document format in the future for our program. IFF DOC. This format will be available to developers. Non-Postscript output: our output is really good, and the reason we use custom drivers is to make it faster than preferences. Our custom drivers are often twice as fast as preferences. Note that we doubled the speed of our HP drivers recently. (finally implemented compression.) Upgrade plans: well, we haven't charged for an upgrade in a long time. 2.2, which was a major change in interface, was a free upgrade. I believe 2.1 we charged just for the manuals, but if you didn't want them, it was free. 2.0 was our last paid upgrade, and that was a lifetime ago. We also do regular patch updates to fix minor problems. For example, we had free patches for 2.2 to 2.2HL to 2.21 to 2.22. The next upgrade will be a paid upgrade. Michael – Soft-Logik Publishing
