Barbara, 3M is a CD-ROM and LaserDisc pressing company. The problem with the CD-ROMS is that you must be able to sell a lot of them, cause you'll be doing a master copy which will cost you around $1,700 and then each replica is very cheap. Also, remember a CD-ROM can store 650Mb of information, so there is a potential problem on how to send the data to 3M. They offer a high-speed modem service for this, or you may have to send them Magneto Optical or Syquest cartridges. I wouldn't recommend for you to go CD-ROM. LaserDiscs (Video) are much better with your programs and data stored in the computer. It's better for a starting enterprise like yours. A LaserDisc will only cost $250 at 3M (called an Alpha Disc, or write-once disc). Jorge Escobar/MEGABYTE PRODUCTIONS (..and AutoPilot, of course!)
