You used to play the GuitOrgan… WOW! I've seen them, even heard them, but never got to play one! Guitar-to-MIDI does seem to require a slightly new technique, extreme precision! I am used to playing as clean as possible, partially from playing acoustic guitar, and partially from some of my guitar heroes, but it can be quite taxing sometimes. Clean strings and careful adjustment of action, pickup placement, etc. all seem to be important. They also help the old technique too! Another item I found to be important, and as an afterthought it isn't surprising, is intonation. I actually bought a strobe tuner to set the the bridge up. Prior to this I have always trusted my ear!! I haven't tried jamming with SuperJAM too much yet, bt I have been having fun with it! I think that I am a little more familiar with M at this point, so SuperJAM seems a little foreign. None-the-less, I had no problems getting the demo version up and running ( and a tip of the hat to the gang at Blue Ribbon for another fine interface!) Talk to you later… ..Bill 😉
