Joel, Can you tell me whether Kodak has available a sample Photo CD disk which could allow prospective customers to evaluate the technology. I suppose this would have to go along with some sort of evaluation copy of software to allow reading the disk. I have CD-ROM drives on two machines, and would like to have a look at the new technology. Do you know whether the Toshiba 3201 CD-ROM drives can read Photo CD. I presume they will not be capable of multi-session, but perhaps single session is possible. What I would hope for in a sample disk would be to have a way to move an image from the CD-ROM to another disk for use with image-editing software, desktop publsihing, ray-tracing etc. I'm a former professional photographer, and long-time serious amateur, who has lately moved into the realm of computers.
