Derringer & DataFlyer
My A500's equipped with a CSA Derringer '030 accelerator w/ 4MB 32 bit
RAM and a DataFlyer Express IDE/SCSI and 2MB Fast RAM in two 1MB SIMMs.
Everything works together pretty well, except for the fact that the
DataFlyer RAM isn't being configured properly when I boot up using the
'030.
When I boot up using the '030, only 1MB of DataFlyer RAM shows up, with an
identifier of "Baseboard". When I boot up in 68000 mode, 2MB show up
with an identifier of "Express". This happens whether or not I have the
32 bit RAM installed (via the resident handler) on boot-up. The only
thing that makes any difference is whether or not I'm running with the
'030 or not.
Any ideas on what's happening? Is the problem with the Derringer or the
DataFlyer? Has anyone else heard of this kind of problem?
