I've used the bitmap transparency feature with DeskJet printouts a few times for some rather neat special effects. (Overlaying on top of text, layering graphics, etc.) This is a useful feature for those of us without PostScript printers. You're talking about the ability to change the fill style to None so that Color 0 will be transparent, right? PLEASE don't remove this. You can do all sorts of neat stuff with it, and it doesn't mean a thing to many of us that it doesn't work with PostScript, since many of us almost never output to PostScript anyway.
