amazing DCTV
Reading a lot of the messages that have been on the cis bulletin boards
lately about Amigas would make you think that things are pretty grim out
there.
Well…this Christmas, Santa was very good to me and I managed to land
three incredible products: DCTV, Imagine 2.0, and Art Dept Pro 2.0.
DCTV is simply amazing. I am disgusted with myself for taking so long to
purchase this incredible bargain in software/hardware. The ability to do
animations in 24-bit (or at least near 24-bit) directly onto videotape
without the awesome expense of a single frame VCR is…..simply
breath-taking! This gadget really works!
When you combine it with the direct DCTV support in Imagine 2.0 with the
ability to quickly piece together animations, this combination is
absolutely worthy of all of the hype that anyone could muster.
I am simply in awe of what DCTV can do for video-work. This is a fantastic
little device.
Lately I've been also using its incredible video digitizer features to make
animations "the old fashioned way" something that I have enjoyed doing
while traveling away from my Amiga….but which I had less usefulness for
since transferring them to video was such a hassle.
This DCTV is simply amazing. HAM mode on the Amiga is just a distant
second….
This device, alone, places the Amiga Computer onto a higher level that IBM
and MAC just cannot reach!
