Thanks for the info….I have a Xetec harddrive and 2.5 MB of RAM so I guess I could use the 7.0 system by your reckoning. A Mac friend told me that the 7.0 system has lots of space dedicated to fonts and color stuff that I don't care about and/or can't use anyway. That's why I was looking for an earlier and smaller release that's more appropriate to the Mac + era system I'll be emulating. I guess I'll start out with 6-something and work my way up if I find I need it. One of my objectives in getting the A-Max at all was that I'm thinking that CD-ROM stuff might be more compatible/available if I access it through A-Max rather than through Amiga. Is that correct – that is, will Mac CD-ROMs work with my A1000/A-Max?
