Unless all you want to do is change the Colors of the different "pieces"
or the Reflectivity or the Filter Values you are better off breaking the
object into different Pieces. Otherwise just use "Pick Faces" and make a
Subgroup for each differently colored section this way if you later change
your mind on coloring you can simply select a Subgroup instead of the
Faces.
