I got your e-mail. I'm getting quotes together for a DEC Pentium XL566 and I'd
like to put in it a high resolution graphics card. I'll be using the computer
for doing 3DS and lots of image editing and creation. The Matrox sounds like a
great card but I'd be interested in a lesson on which cards can support 24 bit
color at the higher resolutions like 1024 x 768 up to 1600 x 1200. To do image
editing would I regret not having the increased color depth? Would I be
satisfied with 1600 x 1200 x 15 bit? Probably a tough one to answer since
you're not me but I'm interested in your opinion.
