Chris: PCI is faster then VLB, VBL is faster then EISA, EISA is faster then ISA This is just a simple way to look at it and alot depends on the type of cards used(ie bus mastering). ISA slots take only ISA 8/16 bit cards EISA slots take EISA and ISA PCI slots take PCI and I don't know if you can use them for anthing else I have and EISA/ISA machine and a PCI/ISA machine I dont know how well the PCI and EISA chips get along.
