Maxiplan ???
John, MaxiPlan allocates memory for spreadsheet cells in, I think 16K
blocks. Then then uses them as necessary and frees pieces as you
process cells. The program keeps track of all its allocations and
releases all the unused space when the program completes. This was
done, (ancient history) because the product originally used system
memory allocation and the advice given was to allocate in big
blocks. Anyway, the bottom line is, YES, it does give some external
memory monitoring tools some fits but it does work.
