Hmmm.. Has the IRA every attacked (other than Lord Mountbatten)
anyone in the immediate Royal family? Weren't the ones who blew up
the boat turned in by their compatriots? Remember reading a
statement by a man in Siegn Feigh<sp?> (the political arm of the IRA)
that the Royals would never be attacked as that would force the
British gov't (from public pressure) to take serious and drastic
action upon the IRA itself. I would think that the IRA would sit out
a action such as this as it would be to their benefit NOT to do
anything.
