You'll get Peer to Peer or Server to Server with a Lantastic starter kit. LAN
6.0 is a major improvement over LAN 5.0 no more AI or Dependent Adaptors. You
now get the choice of any adaptor and can buy licensing on a per node basis or
as a group. So the best of both worlds. Your timing couldn't be better! 🙂
FYI, one of the things that confused me originally was server's and dedicated
Servers. With LAN you can take either approach. Typically Peer to Peer is
"server" to "server". And you can dedicate a "Server" if you wish later on! Its
very flexible.
