Peter, I don't think that works. You have to select Snapshot All to fix the icons. as well as the window position and size. This won't work if all the files don't have icons. If the directory has non-icon files and uses the fake icons, those won't be fixed. You also must have the parent directory open in Show Icon mode in order to shapshot a sub-directory into View Text. I could not get a sub-directory to snapshot into View Text mode unless the parent was in Show Icon mode. Don't know why, but it flat wouldn't work for me.
