Larry, when the Amiga was introduced in 1985 it WAS the best home computer on the market, period. CBM is what has kept it from being a major force in the market, first by their lack of marketing, and now being too slow to keep up with current technology. Sales records are a poor way to judge a computer. The ONLY reason that the PC market is where it is today is because of the initials IBM, not because the XT and various clone's were better. If IBM would have purchased the Amiga instead of CBM, then it would be the #1 sales leader, and people would have a much better computer, IMHO. No other reason. John – K7KB (via Whap!)
