Thanks for the info. So far, the "ROMWack" option under the debug is the only one that gave me a lock-up. Getting back to my clock (on not again!)… I opened the case to check the clock card, and found that it wasn't firmly inserted. So, I did, thinking 'Ah ha! Got it'. Lo, and today, I don't. The month-day was correct, the year was off by about 20 years, and the time was when I shut it down last. I am really getting ticked. Could there be something that gets re-directed to RAM, like the time prefs settings (grabbing at straws), that is throwing this thing off? I can't take it back to the delaer (he's in San Diego). Any thing you can think of to help? John
