OCTAGON 2008 HELP!
Calling all users of the Octagon 2008 SCSI II board, I need some help with
this board, its driving me crazy.
I've installed it on an Amiga 4000/040 to handle a CD romdrive system, now
the Romdrive works fine I was quite surprosed at how smoothly it all
went.
The problem is that when I Boot or ReBoot the system, there is a 26 second
delay in the startup for some reason, The HD goes active as normal and
gets a little way into the startup-sequence and then … STOPS! for 26
seconds before carrying on where it left off. I've tried all the jumpers
(Only one of which seems relevant and has no effect) Now I look to the
mighty Compuserve for some answers…. HELP!!!
