I did an FDISK and FORMAT, restored my Config.sys, and took out all doublespace information, restored the rest of my software and rebooted. Since doing this, 3DS does seem to be slower. Entering and Exiting, getting the cursor up on the screen, refreshing the Materials Editor Screen and loading project files all seem different. When I installed 3DS3 onto my PC which was already Doublespaced, I was able to enter and exit very quickly from 3DSr3 and ANI PRO, etc. When I "RE-DID" my system, only two things come to mind that may be different: 1. In my CMOS table I selected HD Type 43 (210 mb HD) which should be correct (I am waiting for info from the Gateway 2000 Forum) and 2. I switched my vibrant drivers to the latest drivers from ASOFT. Other than those two things, EVERYTHING (regarding software) should be identical. -Mike
