The serial digital I/O I was talking about is the datastream from D-1 and
D-2 (and now D-3) videotape recorders, as well as some digital disk
recorders, like those from Abekas, and other paint systems, like a Quantel
Harry.
We are currently investigating a cache recorder like what Abekas makes, and
if the Toaster were to talk D-2 digital, it would multiply its
productivity.
