I'm trying to get FreeHand 4.0 to open and save a bunch of Adobe Illustrator files. It can open files of type EPS?, so I'm okay there, but when I try to issue an Open File command via AppleScript it tells me that FH4 doesn't understand the Open command, but when I send an Open command (class: aevt; ID: odoc) from QuicKeys 3.0 it works. Questions: how can I send an open command to FH4 in an AScript script; and/or 2) how can I get QuicKeys to tell me exactly what it is "saying" to Freehand? -Thanks! -Eric.
