My personal feelings are that it's possible to use both programs effectively — together. The nice thing about PP is its object-orientedness, and when combined with AAP elements, there's a lot of flexibility. It's certainly possible to do amazing presentations just with AAP, and when the occasion warrants it, it's an ideal solution. Note that AAP was not _designed_ as a presentation package… it was designed as a 2D animation package using the Quantel Paintbox/Harry metaphor to let an artist paint over time. When most business types see all the features and the non-standard UI, they get a little intimidated.
