More wishlist items.
How about being able to link stuff in the editor. Take a backoe for
example. Several pieces, numerous angles, and placement. It would
be great to be able to set this up in the editor so I could get stuff
the way I need it before I enter the keyframer. I always end up
having to adjust it. If you do it in the keyframer and then got back
to the editor later.."Wow, who needs the explode IPAS" <g>. I
usually end up linking and placing in the keyframer and then make
snapshots. I then go back to the editor and delete the original
pieces.
Number two, and this one I have made all sorts of noise about, but
have great passion in this area…some delimiter that is placeable in
the video poster that would allow you to set up several segments all
with head and tails, or just one or the other, or a definable switch
for head and tail length in the command line. That was clear. For
example. When dropping to tape, let's say I have 3 segments all of
which I want to have a head and tail. Let's also say that my wife is
really going to leave this time if I spend another night dropping to
tape. I would love to be able to set up the following in video post:
hlda0000.tga / HEAD (300)
fred*.tga
hlda0300.tga /TAIL (150)
GAP (150)
hldb0000.tga / HEAD (150)
barney*.tga
hldb0450.tga / TAIL (150)
GAP( 150)
