Wayne,
<< We used Alan Kalameja's practise book heavily and focused on time saving
techniques to get through the various styles of questions.>>
How valid is this? I can read Cliff Notes on a great piece of literature, write
a report and pass. Does this make me an expert on the subject?
A high school student taking AutoCAD could review Alan's book, work
with AutoCAD in class for a semester, take the ACE and pass. He gets
a certificate indicating he is Certified Level 1 AutoCAD. If I am an
employer and hiring people with CAD experience, should I hire an
individual with 5 years practical, hands on AutoCAD without the
certificate, or the individual who is CERTIFIED?
<<If anyone has accurate statistics on the average pass rate for past exams I
would like to hear about it as soon as possible.>>
How about posting the statistical results of ALL ACE examines on C-Serve? How
many people have taken the exam in the last two years? What is the Pass/Fail
rates (for drawing and general knowledge sections)?
