Tim – I had forgotten about the Crab Bowl's ultimate fate, but, now that you mention it, I have heard about that conversion. I always thought it was a weird location for a porn video place. I remember the original Crab Bowl location back down Barbur Blvd. across from the Burlingame Fred Meyer. It was very small, and people used to line up down the street and shuffled past these big picture windows where the patrons sat. Kind of made you nervous when you were sitting there eating <g>. They served turtle soup.
