I have a TQ2026F, and would like to know how much you paid for the dropout compensator. I'm annoyed at the amount of dropouts, which can vary from nil to unacceptable, especially if the animation has a large, solid background. (Black backgrounds are the worst! Every little thing shows) I know these recorders we have are old, and I figure few places still perform the mod, if any; but I'd still like to know if the price is in the $500 range, or the $5000 range. <g>
