Steve,
Long time no type! What's goin' on ??
What you need are rings, not circles, if I understand you correctly.
My way of making circles may be a bit unorthodox, but it works nicely
and quickly. Grab your book of fonts that came with the Toaster,
find an 'O' that looks about like the circles you need, load that
font into Modeler, and use either the TEXT option or the LogoTron
macro that came with 3.1 to turn it into an object. The LogoTron
method will automatically bevel it for you and everything. Before
tinkering with it anymore, hit F1 to center it, making it much easier
to modify. If the aspect (height to width ratio) isn't quite
perfect, use STRETCH to get it right. Once you have the first one
like you want it, copy it to another layer, put the first layer
visible in the background, and use STRETCH again to go up or down in
size as needed. Using SIZE will make it thinner, as well, so I
wouldn't use that. Just use STRETCH, enter matching values for X and
Y (numeric method) and 1.0 as the Z value.
Repeat the above paragraph for as many circles as you need.
Good Luck,
Jerry
