Commodity question
I have a question about style.
I am writing a commodity and am wondering about the proper way to approach
the issue of ToolTypes and command line arguments.
I have the commodity working properly with both (WB/Shell) startup
methods. I used the commodities.library ArgArray() functions which parse
out both ToolTypes and Shell args correctly, but there doesn't seem to be
any provision for a command line template.
I can use ReadArgs() to do the template part, but that is duplicating the
work of the ArgArray() functions.
I am wondering how others handle this? Do you simply have no template? Do
you use Readargs? Do you hack a template in? There is nothing in the RKM
or the Style Guide that I could find that addresses this, yet it seems
like quite a common problem.
Thank you for any help you may have to offer.
