#Monitor Trouble
Need a recommendation in New York City.
The picture on my monitor (Commodore 1950-B multiscan) suddenly goes out.
There is no visual breakup or audible indication that anything is wrong,
it just goes out. If you give it a little "whop" on the side it may blink
back on for a minute or so but then it's gone again. I've looked inside
for loose connections, improperly seated components etc. to no avail.
Anyone recognize this problem? I sent the thing off for repair. It took
two months and cost $150.00. When I got it back, it worked for about
three days and then it began again. There must be hundreds of decent
repair shops in New York (I live in midtown Manhattan) but I've never had
to find one before. Can anyone recommend a place to repair this monitor.
I've just gotten a Retina 24bit display card and I can't use it!!!
Thank You
