I am exploring the possibility of setting up a 3DS Special Interst Group in the United Kingdom. I am a long standing AutoCAD user, and serve on the Autodesk User Group UK committee. AUGUK was, until January this year, the AutoCAD User Group, which is why 3DS users may not have heard of us before. Is such a group were to be succesful, it would need enthusiastic 3DS users to run it. Initially, I would like to hear from users who would like to join such a group, or help run it. I would also like to hear from companies who could host meetings. I can ensure that 3DS SIG meetings get publicity in News.dxf, CADdesk and CAD User.
