W32p vs. VIBCFG at 16.7M

Chuck,
Sorry. I guess I should have described the problem in more detail. It is a
bit complicated. I suspect the problem is more with the LightSpeed than with
your driver. Anyway, here goes:
In the 640x480x16.7M mode the colors are all wrong. They are sometimes all
blue, sometimes yellowish and greenish, and sometimes almost correct but
dithered. The weird thing is that this problem occurs ONLY at a 60Hz refresh
rate. When at 72Hz refresh rate the colors are fine.
So, what am I complaining about? Well, it seems that this card has a problem
at 640x480x16.7M at 72Hz…it doesn't fill the screen horizontally. Needless
to say, I am also talking to STB about this but they say it has to do with
the dot clock and they may not be able to fix it!
So, for now, I am stuck with 60Hz for this mode.
Interestingly enough though, there are no color problems when in _Windows_.
Adobe Photoshop etc. are showing perfect 24 bit color at 640x480x16.7M at
60Hz refresh. It is only 3DS that is having a problem.
I have several choices but none of them are ideal. Either the colors come
out wrong and I view the output in Windows, OR I see the output on a
distorted screen at 72Hz, OR I drop down to 16 bit color and put up with
gradient colors (unacceptable, I want to see 24 bit color), OR I lose the
LightSpeed card and go back to my old generic ET4000/W32 card which doesn't
have this problem. With the last option, however, I lose my high resolution
modes like 1280x1024x256.
I am, therefore, hoping that you might have a quick fix for this problem.

P.S. This is a VLB not a PCI card.
