Yes I power up all external units, I wait 20 seconds ( the external disk must
do no noise ! – sorry my english is bad – ) and turn on the computer… With
this method I can, boot many times ( not not all the times ). If I need to use
the serial port of the accelerator I wait fews minutes ( I can use the computer
) and I do a warm-start ( ctrl-Amiga-Amiga ). Another problem with this card
G-Force 040 for A2000 is that the Retina ( zorro 2 version ) doesn't work very
often : I need to reboot too ! MacroSystem explains this by a timing problem on
accelerated A2000….. I have buy a Picasso card now. Is it possible to use the
bus on the card to add memory ? ( more than 16K ? ) or this connector is only
for the very expenssive EGS-110/24 ? I have 12Mb on the card but now if I buy
16Mb simms I can't re-use them… If I add 4Mb the card is fully populated (
and 16Mb are expensive ).
