I had some simlar problems and error messages from GVPscsi.device. I am
using a SCSI+ram board on my A1200, so don't know if there is any
parallel, but worth a shot.
On my GVP software disk is a command called GVPScsiCtrl. If you have it,
put this line in your user startup sequence, and the command in your c
dir.
GVPScsiCtrl 006 DCOFF
type EXACTLY as above…command is sensitive to caps and lower case
letters. See if that helps.
Also, you may need to increase the size of the buffers assigned to that
unit. Do this (I think it applies to CD ROMs?!) with the
Fastprep/expertprep program.
