Hi Marion, > About the Metaballs routines, what they are, what they do, how much they'll cost, when they'll be out, and where to get them, would be fine for starters. 🙂 Well, as long as you're not asking TOO much for starters…..<g> What they are: Metaballs are 3 dimensional objects whose surfaces react to the presence of other 3 dimensional objects. In other words, these objects will flow together or flow apart, depending on the parameters the user chooses. Their instrinsic surface properties can also change over time in an animation. What they do: Metaballs allow an animator to create "biological" or "liquid" objects for animations as well as providing an excellent means of producing characters for animation. How much they'll cost: Don't know yet. The feature list keeps growing all the time so the final price hasn't been decided yet. When they'll be out: Same answer as above, for the same reason. Where to get them: A notice will be posted here when the time comes. I imagine it will be through some of the same sources as other IPAS routines. Hope this helps clear things up.
