Wow…Stevey!!! You misunderstood that part where I was telling you WHY you misunderstood!!! Seriously, though…. Please dial (800) 995-EXAM to get a full brochure and related info regarding the current structure and breakdown of the exams. You're comments to Wayne of recent are filled with hypo-thetics to the negative in that you're placing the burden of passing any of the NOVELL certification tests on the fact that money has been exchanged and an Authorized Training Center was attended to acquire the knowledge necessary to pass the tests. The key ingredient missing in this formula though, Steve, is the individual taking the test. I'm stating the obvious here but if I paid to have my Pet Rock (of whom I'm quite certain will be a geologist!!) to attend the Harvard of ATC's, then pumped out the capital for the Certification Tests, I'd be hoping for the best possible outcome, but you and I both know (and I'm guessing at this point!!) that we can't hold the "establishments that be" responsible ENTIRELY for little Fred's test score…the guy's a rock!!! Sorry for the goofing around (and don't get me started!!), but some of your questions and concerns are easily answered by the 800 number. In your response to Wayne recently, you were concerned about learning the category scoring of each section for the NOVELL test, and yes the 800 number will get you a brochure which breaks down each section. When the test is complete…immediately (not later in the mail) the testor receives a "seal stamped" original, which reports the entire score and also a table-type chart for each of the numerous categories (Dimensions, Layering, Zooming, Basic Draw/Edit…). In closing…my responses here to UUUU are not meant to be jabbing or pigeon-holing, though you've demonstrated some of those same skills yourself….merely….I'm trying to provide you with a close to the source answer to fill those voids of knowledge regarding the structure and functionallity of the test. Part of the trouble on CIS is the "context" of the discussion is lost from one day to the next, not to mention the voice inflections are reduced to ASCII…. THIS IS SCREAMING….this is not!!! <G> Post you land-line number, and I'll pick on you at my expense…these very subjects we're discussing are the very things that help us work through the various problems with testing/certification/instruction.
