"The fix is definately worth a person's time. I am usually wary of
hardware "hacks" so to speak. I figured that since this wasn't a hack for
the 1200 or 4000 directly but instead the monitor adaptor, I would give it
a try! BEAUTIFUL!"
Well the original fix for this posted up on Internet consisted of cutting
a trace on the bottom of the 4000's motherboard, so when it was posted, I
decided that I could live with the banding awhile longer <g>. But this fix
is a heck of a lot easier so didn't mind it at all. I didn't have much
sympathy for that monitor adapter <g>.
