HiDensity Drives

I've just upgraded my Amiga 2000/040 to the new DKB/Power Computing
HiDensity drives. In order to allow two drives in my system, I had to
solder across a pin on the ribbon connector of the PCB on one of the
drives… and now it can be recognized as DF1: Unfortunately, the
software patch for the HiDensity Drives only allows DF0: to be recognized
as a 1.76 MB drive. The other drive is only recognized as a standard,
880K Amiga drive. Can anyone help with this problem?
