I use GPFax. I seem to have problems connecting with some incoming faxes
— damn thing won't answer the phone. So far I don't receive enough faxes
for a dedicated line, so I turn on GPFax when someone tells me they are
going to send me a fax. If I bring it up on autoanswer, it doesn't always
answer the damn phone when it is supposed to (i.e., it is set for the
first ring but doesn't pick up by the fourth).
