Doug, The Princess Pat Mine sounds as if it would be worth the substantial drive from LA, but alas I had only a short afternoon to collect. I went to the Sterlin Mine in Tick Canyon to look for fluorescent borates and check out the basalt sill for zeolites. I didn't do so well on zeolites, but I did find some nice ulexite, howlite, colemanite, abnd maybe some others. Some fluoresce nicely! I will report on my catch later, but I must get ready for next week's travels. Thanks for the suggestion. I put it into my travel file for later reference when I get back to LA, with more time on my hands. Nathan
