Thanks for the info. I did a little more research and found out that if I bring
up the early startup control screen, that even if my boot partition is listed
as available, I still get the load boot floppy animation a couple of times
(although it is not listed on initial boot, so the spinup problem is definitely
there, too). So, something even wierder is going on here. I am going to try it
with some other drives. I also occasionally get a disk error on my workbench
partition, but when I do all the disk diagnostics, nothing comes up as bad and
when I hit retry it ALWAYS succeeds. Maybe it is a cable problem.
Also, when I disconnects the second drive and changed the boot drive from
master to only, none of these problems occured. However, all drive jumper
settings are correct. Arrrrrghhhhhhh. This is a minor annoyance compared to the
flyer/Toaster 4.0 hangups.
