Bruce, you are KING!! I took the cover off the 4000 and the problem has not occured again. I had spent hours trying to figure out what the heck was going on and never did it occure to me that it may be a heat problem. I now have a working Amiga 4000 – but I need to call the dealer and have him put in a bigger fan or something cause I don't feel to comfortable with an open cased computer laying around. Anyway, Thanks a million! Adib
