48 Minutes had a good segment last evening on college and university
professors using teaching assistants. The professors rarely show up in the
classroom because (so they say) they have to publish, publish, publish. After
years of this, the education system has arrived in the sorry state it is in
today. There won't be any quick fix. The horrific grammar and english usage we
see today WILL get worse before it gets better.
