Training tapes are too linear to be of much help, in my experience. This would
be an ideal task, however, for an interactive CD-ROM that could skip right to
particular operation. Having a video image in the help system wouldn't even be
that necessary; just show the screen operations with an auto-mouse type demo.
IM's included ApAssist help is halfway there; an active demo using recorded
key-mouse macros (quite achievable on Amigas) would solve the problem, in my
